Camden, NJ - The RCSJ-Gloucester Roadrunners took game-one away from the Brookdale Jersey Blues in the baseball North Atlantic District Championships with a final score of 9-4.
Brookdale struggled at the plate and couldn't catch up to the Roadrunners who had a strong third and fourth inning to combine for all nine of their runs. Despite the battle and tough loss, sophomore catcher and powerhouse, Shane Andrus, hammered a homer and a double for three RBI's and freshman shortstop, Justin Lopez, also whacked a solo home run to back the Blues.
Brookdale has another shot to beat the Roadrunners in game-two with a 3:30pm start.
