Jersey Blues Stay Hot In Back To Back Beatdown Over The Buccaneers
Lincroft, NJ - The Brookdale Jersey Blues continued their offensive surge, securing their second straight victory over the Atlantic Cape Community College Buccaneers with an emphatic 18-6 win on their home field to improve to 15-7 on the season.

Lincroft, NJ - The Brookdale Jersey Blues continued their offensive surge, securing their second straight victory over the Atlantic Cape Community College Buccaneers with an emphatic 18-6 win on their home field to improve to 15-7 on the season.
Freshman first baseman Owen Parillo led the charge, blasting a double and a triple while driving in three runs to spark the Blues' attack. Sophomore second baseman Ryan Tan added to the offensive explosion, going 2-for-3 at the plate with a double and three RBI, continuing to apply pressure on the Buccaneers' pitching staff. Freshman Nicco Maribo stayed hot as well, finishing 2-for-3 with a double, while sophomore Derek Miro delivered a perfect 2-for-2 performance with two RBI to help extend Brookdale's lead.
On the mound, sophomore Matty Koenig delivered a standout performance to earn the win and even his record at 2-2. Koenig was dominant across 5.0 innings, allowing just one hit while striking out five, keeping Atlantic Cape off balance and limiting scoring opportunities.
Now 15-7, Brookdale will hit the road to face the Delaware County Community College Phantoms in the opening game of a three-game series on Friday, April 3rd, with first pitch set for 3:30 p.m.
