Lincroft, NJ - Brookdale baseball dropped a 12-3 decision to the RCSJ-Gloucester Roadrunners in a single nine inning matchup at home.
The Jersey Blues battled throughout the afternoon and were led offensively by sophomore right fielder Gary Perone, who delivered the biggest hit of the day with a triple that drove in a run. Additional RBI came from sophomore second baseman Ryan Tan and freshman right fielder Ray Mulhern as Brookdale continued to battle to the end.
Now 29-8-1 on the season, the Jersey Blues will look to answer back when they travel to Sewell, NJ for a rematch against the Roadrunners in another single nine inning game on Wednesday, April 22nd at 3:30pm.
