Brookdale Falls to Alexandria Tech In Series Opener
Johnson City, TN - The No. 5 seeded Brookdale Community College baseball team was defeated by the No. 4 Alexandria Technical College Legends, 12-7, in game one of the 2026 NJCAA Division III Baseball World Series at TVA Credit Union Ballpark.

ohnson City, TN - The No. 5 seeded Brookdale Community College baseball team was defeated by the No. 4 Alexandria Technical College Legends, 12-7, in game one of the 2026 NJCAA Division III Baseball World Series at TVA Credit Union Ballpark.
Sophomore third baseman Anthony Pizzuti led the Jersey Blues offensively, blasting two doubles and driving in four RBI. Sophomore right fielder Casey Gardiner and freshman pinch hitter LJ Santiago each added an RBI to help keep Brookdale within striking distance throughout the contest.
Brookdale will return to action on Sunday, May 24th, when they face the No. 8 seeded Oakton College Owls at 9:45 p.m. in game two of the World Series tournament.
