Jenkintown, PA- The Brookdale men's soccer team shut out the Blue Jays of Manor College, 2-0. Freshman midfielder Hakeem Wood ripped the first goal of the game in the 72nd minute. Freshman midfielder Alex Cella collected the assist.
Five minutes later, freshman forward Jordan Robinson connected with the back of the net for the second and final goal of the game. Freshman forward Ryan Casciani dished the assist.
Sophomore goalkeeper Luis Aguirre grabbed five saves for his first shutout of the season.
The team returns to action in the Region XIX tournament.
