Down-To-The-Wire Duel Ends In 3–2 Setback For Brookdale
Lincroft, NJ - The Brookdale Community College men's volleyball team clawed through a gripping five-set match but ultimately fell 3–2 to the Nassau Community College Lions in a contest that came down to the final points. The Lions took the opening set 25–17 before Brookdale answered with a hard-fought 29–27 second set and a 25–20 win in the third. Nassau regrouped to take the fourth 25–19 and edged out the deciding set 15–13 in a tense finale.

Sophomore middle hitter Jahki Willis powered the Jersey Blues with 13 kills, while freshman middle hitter Logan Ash delivered 12. Sophomore outside hitter Jacob Krol added 11 kills, and sophomore setter Travis Burke contributed across the board with five kills, five aces, and two blocks.
Brookdale moves to 1–2 on the season and will turn its focus to the next matchup against the Northampton Community College Spartans on Saturday, February 28th at 12:00pm.
