Lincroft, NJ - The Brookdale Community College men's volleyball team protected its home court with a solid 3-1 victory over the Harcum College Bears. The Jersey Blues claimed the match with set scores of 25-23, 14-25, 25-22, and 25-20.
Sophomore middle hitter Jahki Willis (Long Branch High School) led Brookdale with an impressive performance, recording 12 kills, two serving aces, and four blocks to anchor both the offense and defense. Sophomore outside hitter Jacob Krol (Old Bridge High School) contributed nine kills while adding three blocks to help control the net.
Freshman outside hitter Mauricio Catalan (Colts Neck High School) delivered a strong effort with 11 kills, while freshman middle hitter Logan Ash (Freehold Boro High School) added nine kills to round out a balanced Jersey Blues attack.
With the win, Brookdale improves to 3-2 on the season. The Jersey Blues will remain at home as they prepare to host the Middlesex College Colts on Wednesday, March 4th at 6:00 pm.
