Jersey Blues Fight Through Tough Sets But Monroe Mustangs Hold The Line
New Rochelle, NY – The Brookdale Community College men's volleyball team battled through a competitive road matchup against the Monroe University Mustangs but came up short in a 3-0 decision. The Mustangs secured the win with set scores of 25-21, 25-14, and 25-23.

Freshman middle hitter Logan Ash led the Jersey Blues attack with six kills, consistently finding openings at the net. A balanced offensive effort followed as sophomore middle hitter Jahki Willis, sophomore outside hitter Jacob Krol, freshman outside hitter Mauricio Catalan, and freshman middle hitter Jayden Preston each added five kills to keep Brookdale within striking distance throughout the game.
With the loss, Brookdale moves to 4-4 on the season. The Jersey Blues will return home for their next matchup when they host the Monroe University Express on Monday, March 9th at 7:00 p.m. at the Collins Arena.
