Brookdale Battles But Bows In Straight Sets To Ocean
Lincroft, NJ — The Brookdale Community College men’s volleyball team closed out its regular season with a straight-set loss to the Ocean County College Vikings, 3-0, in a tightly contested match that saw the Jersey Blues remain competitive throughout each set. The Vikings secured the win with scores of 25-21, 25-19, and 25-23.

The Vikings secured the win with scores of 25-21, 25-19, and 25-23.
Sophomore middle hitter Jahki Willis led the offensive effort with eight kills while also contributing two blocks at the net, and sophomore outside hitter Jacob Krol added seven kills and delivered two serving aces.
With the loss, the Jersey Blues conclude the regular season with a 9-9 overall record. Now, their attention turns to postseason play as they await their seeding for the upcoming Region 19 Tournament.
