Men's Cross Country Is Top Junior College Finisher In Golden Eagle Invitational
Stony Brook, NY - The Brookdale men's cross-country team placed 6th out of 16 teams and was the top junior college to cross the line in the Golden Eagle Invitational hosted by St. Joseph`s University on the campus of Stony Brook University.

Stony Brook, NY - The Brookdale men's cross-country team placed 6th out of 16 teams and was the top junior college to cross the line in the Golden Eagle Invitational hosted by St. Joseph`s University on the campus of Stony Brook University.
The team was led by sophomore Andrew Lorig, (Matawan High School), who placed 9th with a personal record of 29:10. Next across the line was freshman, Walter Heffner (Middletown North High School), who placed 17th in a personal record of 29:49. Heffner was followed by sophomore, Harmon Hass (St. John Vianney High School) who placed 38th in a season best of 32:14. Sophomore, Diego Alva (Dumont High School), placed 43rd in a personal record of 32:44. Sophomore, Charles Doolittle (Middletown South High School), placed 45th in a personal record of 32:48. Rounding out the team was freshman, Jason Ritter (Matawan Regional High School), who placed 61st in a personal record of 35:09.
The men`s team will be back in action on Saturday, September 20th, as they travel down to Stockton University to participate in the Osprey Open with an 11:15am start.
