Cassidy Brzozowski Named GSAC Softball Player of the Week

Lincroft, NJ - Brookdale Community College sophomore outfielder Cassidy Brzozowski has been named the Garden State Athletic Conference player of the week, for the week ending April 13th.

Brzozowski hit a team-best .583 to go along with three doubles, two homeruns, seven RBI and six runs scored in four wins this week for the Jersey Blues. The two-time GSAC player of the week led off the week with a stellar four-for-four day with two doubles, one home run and five RBIs vs. Sussex.  The sophomore outfielder finished the week off with a dominant performance in the second part of Saturday's twinbill against Region contender Gloucester County College.  Brzozowski smacked a two-run homerun and stole two bases in the 5-2 victory.  Brzozowski cracks the National top-10 leader board in RBIs (seventh with 32) and runs (ninth with 32) for top-ranked Brookdale (23-4).
