Lincroft, NJ- The Brookdale softball team fell to the Vikings of Mercer County Community College in two close games, 6-5 and 14-10.
Freshman first baseman Bethany Evans went 5-8 from the plate, including a three-run homer, her third of the season. Evans totaled eight RBI's for the doubleheader. Sophomore center-fielder Amanda Pringle recorded six hits and six scored runs in the match-up. Freshman outfielder Taylor Mennie posted five hits, three of which were doubles.
The team returns to the diamond at home on Friday, April 1st for a doubleheader against Valley Forge Military College.
Coach Bo is two wins away from earning his 1,000th career win.
