Brookdale Dominates Out Of Conference Clash With Chesapeake
Lincroft, NJ – The Brookdale Jersey Blues softball team delivered an offensive showcase in an out of conference doubleheader, sweeping the Chesapeake Community College Skipjacks, 20-6 and 10-2.

Lincroft, NJ – The Brookdale Jersey Blues softball team delivered an offensive showcase in an out of conference doubleheader, sweeping the Chesapeake Community College Skipjacks, 20-6 and 10-2.
In game one, Brookdale's lineup came alive early and never slowed down. Freshman shortstop Adrianna Cruz led the charge, going 3-for-4 at the plate while electrifying the bases with six stolen bases. Sophomore pitcher Jules Hart matched the offensive intensity, also going 3-for-4 and driving in three runs to anchor the Blues' explosive performance.
Freshman center fielder Sophia Lasater ignited the momentum with a triple in her first at bat on the first pitch, batting 2-for-2 overall with an RBI. Freshman catcher Alexa Cebulski and sophomore Mya Bonilla each contributed RBI singles as Brookdale continued to apply pressure throughout the game.
Hart was equally impressive in the circle, earning the win after facing 27 batters over 5.0 innings while striking out eight, securing the 20-6 victory.
The momentum carried into game two as the Jersey Blues continued their offensive rhythm. Cruz once again stood out, delivering a perfect 4-for-4 performance that included a double, a triple, and three RBI. Cebulski added another RBI, while sophomore pitcher Jadeyn Pavlik contributed at the plate as well.
Pavlik took care of business in the circle, pitching 5.0 strong innings to earn the win and improve her record to 4-1, sealing the 10-2 victory and the sweep.
With the dominant showing, Brookdale looks ahead to their next challenge as they host the Ocean County College Vikings on Tuesday, March 24th at 3:30 PM.
