Sophia Lasater Earns NFCA NJCAA Division III All-America Recognition
Lincroft, NJ – Brookdale Community College freshman first baseman Sophia Lasater has been named a 2026 National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) Division III All-American, recognizing her as one of the nation's top softball student-athletes.
Lincroft, NJ – Brookdale Community College freshman first baseman Sophia Lasater has been named a 2026 National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) Division III All-American, recognizing her as one of the nation's top softball student-athletes.
The standout freshman put together an exceptional season for the Jersey Blues, finishing with a .530 batting average, 59 RBI, 63 runs scored, and 27 stolen bases. She also recorded 23 doubles, 12 triples, a .940 slugging percentage, and a .612 on-base percentage while drawing 31 walks.
Lasater led NJCAA Division III in both doubles and triples, helping fuel the Jersey Blues to a share of the Garden State Athletic Conference championship and a Region 19 Runner-Up finish.
