Freshman Leomary Diaz-Merino led all scorers with an impressive 26 points and added four assists to pace Brookdale on the offensive end. Freshman guard Laila Hagan followed with 17 points, while freshman guard Jamirah Glanton chipped in 10 points to give the Jersey Blues three players in double figures.
With the victory, Brookdale Community College improves to 5-4 on the season. The Jersey Blues will return home for their next matchup against the Sussex County Community College Skylanders on Tuesday, December 9th, with tip-off scheduled for 5:00pm.
