Toms River, NJ - The Brookdale women's basketball team fought through a tightly contested matchup on the road but ultimately fell to the Ocean County College Vikings, 58-53.
Freshman guard Jamirah Glanton led the way for Brookdale with 15 points, showing poise and consistency throughout the game. Freshman guard Leomary Diaz-Merino added 14 points, continuing her strong offensive presence, while sophomore guard Jocelyn Jackson contributed 12 points to round out a balanced scoring performance.
Despite a determined push in the final minutes, the Blues were unable to overcome the Vikings' late momentum. Brookdale (9-9) will return home for its next contest, hosting the Passaic County College Panthers in the Collins Arena on Tuesday, February 3rd, at 5:00pm.
