Bethlehem, PA - Brookdale women’s basketball once again found its late-game composure, edging the Northampton Community College Spartans 53-50 in a tense Region 19 North Atlantic District Playoff matchup. The Jersey Blues and Spartans battled through their third straight thriller of the season, with Brookdale emerging victorious in all three contests.

Bethlehem, PA - Brookdale women's basketball once again found its late-game composure, edging the Northampton Community College Spartans 53-50 in a tense Region 19 North Atlantic District Playoff matchup. The Jersey Blues and Spartans battled through their third straight thriller of the season, with Brookdale emerging victorious in all three contests.
Freshman guard Leomary Diaz-Merino led the charge with 17 points, five assists, and three steals, setting the tone on both ends of the floor. Sophomore guard Jocelyn Jackson delivered 12 strong points, while freshman guard Jamirah Glanton powered the interior with a 10-point, 12-rebound double-double.
With the win, the Jersey Blues move on to face the #2 seeded RCSJ-Gloucester Roadrunners in the semifinals on Thursday, February 26th at 6:00 pm on the road, looking to keep their postseason run alive.
