Lincroft, NJ - The Brookdale women's soccer team recorded their second shutout of the season against the Fashion Institute of Technology, 2-0.
The Jersey Blues had 17 shots on goal to FIT's five as freshman goalie, Olivia Gibson, had six saves. Both goals were scored in the first half with the first being knocked in at 6:27 from sophomore midfielder, Taylor Suckey, off the foot of sophomore midfielder, Emma Petrocelli. The second goal was sent at 27:22 when freshman midfielder, Emily Murawski, set up the assist for freshman midfielder, Bella Tomassini, to put in the back of the net.
Brookdale (2-0) will travel to Mays Landing, NJ to play the Atlantic Cape Community College Buccaneers on Tuesday, September 16th, at 4:00pm.
