Lincroft, NJ - The Brookdale women's soccer team picked up their eighth win with a 3-0 shutout against the RCSJ-Cumberland Dukes. It was the seventh shutout on the season for the Jersey Blues.

Lincroft, NJ - The Brookdale women's soccer team picked up their eighth win with a 3-0 shutout against the RCSJ-Cumberland Dukes. It was the seventh shutout on the season for the Jersey Blues.
Brookdale was in dominant control of the game from the get-go and handled a majority of the possession. At 10:24 on the clock, freshman midfielder, Bella Tomassini scored her 17th goal of the season while sophomore forward, Kyle Wolstencroft, fed her a sweet pass to plunge in the back of the net.
Wolstencroft was in the mix again for the second goal as she scored off the foot of freshman midfielder, Emily Murawski, at 22:51. In the 32nd minute, Brookdale found their third and final goal with Bella Tomassini setting up sophomore forward Grace Broderick for the game-icing goal. Freshman goalie Olivia Gibson was strong in the net with six saves in the win.
Brookdale remains home to play the Atlantic Cape Community College Buccaneers on Saturday, October 11th at 2:00pm.
