Freshman forward Bella Tomassini put on a masterclass performance, scoring four goals to lead the Jersey Blues. Tomassini wasted no time making her impact felt, burying her first goal just 2:24 into the match on an unassisted strike. She doubled the lead at 12:30, finishing a setup from freshman midfielder Emily Murawski.
Brookdale continued to control play into the second half, pushing the score to 3–0 at 55:38 when Murawski found the net off a feed from Tomassini. The dynamic freshman duo struck again later in the half as Tomassini completed her hat trick with an unassisted goal at 67:26, then delivered her fourth and final tally at 69:46, once more assisted by Murawski.
While the offense stole the spotlight, Brookdale's defensive anchor came through in a big way as well. Freshman goalkeeper Demitria Fredericks made eight strong saves, helping secure the victory and limiting Bristol's chances throughout the match.
The five-goal outburst capped an incredible season for Brookdale, who finish with a 12–3 overall record and a lengthy list of accolades. The Jersey Blues claimed the Region 19 championship, while Tomassini earned Region 19 DIII and GSAC DIII Player of the Year honors. Head Coach Nil Onder was also recognized as the Region 19 DIII Women's Soccer Coach of the Year, celebrating one of the program's strongest campaigns in recent history.
