Dowlen And Ahmed Shine But Blues Drop 8-1 Decision At Mercer

West Windsor, NJ - Brookdale women's tennis faced a tough road challenge against the Mercer County Community College Mustangs, falling 8-1 despite a strong showing in doubles play.

The highlight for the Jersey Blues came at first doubles, where sophomore duo Gabby Dowlen and Haidi Ahmed secured the team's lone victory with a solid performance. Dowlen also competed fiercely in first singles, splitting sets in a hard-fought match.

Now sitting at 0-3, the Jersey Blues will look to bounce back on their home courts when they host the Camden County College Cougars on Monday, April 13th at 3:30pm.
