Brookdale Shuts Out Bergen With Third-Set Comeback
Lincroft, NJ - The Brookdale Jersey Blues women's volleyball team swept the Bergen Community College Bulldogs by set scores of 25-22, 25-23, 27-25. The Jersey Blues trailed by nine points in the third set, but rallied to secure the win in an exciting finish to sweep the Bulldogs.

Lincroft, NJ - The Brookdale Jersey Blues women's volleyball team swept the Bergen Community College Bulldogs by set scores of 25-22, 25-23, 27-25. The Jersey Blues trailed by nine points in the third set, but rallied to secure the win in an exciting finish to sweep the Bulldogs.
Freshman outside hitter, Gemma Ferris (Wall High School), lead the Blues with 12 kills while sophomore outside hitter, Alana Pytel (Marlboro High School), posted six kills and three serving aces. Freshman setter, Bella McKelvey ( Brick Memorial), added three kills and four serving aces to help close the win.
Brookdale (2-0) will be on the road for their next match to take on the Delaware County Community College Phantoms on Monday, September, 15th, at 6:00pm.
