Jersey Blues Volleyball Spike The Roadrunners
Sewell, NJ - The Brookdale Community College women's volleyball team added another win to their season after defeating the RCSJ-Gloucester Roadrunners on the road 3-1. The Blues lost a close 24-26 first set, then hammered the following three sets, 25-21, 25-16, 25-17. The Jersey Blues are currently 12-2 overall and 11-1 in Region 19.

Leading Brookdale with 20 crucial kills was freshman outside hitter, Gemma Ferris. Sophomore outside hitter, Alana Pytel, came through with 15 kills as sophomore middle blocker, Amanda Demeo, posted six kills, and freshman setter, Bella McKelvey, helped in the victory with five kills.
The Jersey Blues will be on the road again as they challenge the Sussex County Community College Skylanders on Wednesday, October 15th with a 6:00pm serve time.
