Lincroft, NJ - The #2-seeded Brookdale Community College women’s volleyball team continued its postseason success with a commanding victory over the #7 Union College Owls in the NJCAA Region 19 Tournament semifinals.

Lincroft, NJ - The #2-seeded Brookdale Community College women's volleyball team continued its postseason success with a commanding victory over the #7 Union College Owls in the NJCAA Region 19 Tournament semifinals.
Sophomore outside hitter Gemma Ferris powered the Jersey Blues' offense with 19 kills, while sophomore middle hitter Maria Luz added seven kills and three aces. Sophomore Alana Pytel contributed nine kills, and freshman setter Bella McKelvey chipped in with four kills and three aces to round out a strong team effort.
With the win, Brookdale advances to the East B District Region 19 Championship, where they will face the #3-seeded Ocean County College Vikings on Saturday, November 1st at 6:00 p.m. at Northampton Community College. The winner will move on to the NJCAA Division III National Tournament.
