Ferris And McKelvey Amongst 2025 GSAC Division III Women’s Volleyball All-Conference Team
Lincroft, NJ - Brookdale Community College women’s volleyball earned major recognition as two standout freshmen were named to the DIII All-GSAC Teams after exceptional first-year performances, and Head Coach Christian Williams was honored as the GSAC Coach of the Year.
Lincroft, NJ - Brookdale Community College women's volleyball earned major recognition as two standout freshmen were named to the DIII All-GSAC Teams after exceptional first-year performances, and Head Coach Christian Williams was honored as the GSAC Coach of the Year.
Outside hitter Gemma Ferris, a Wall High School alum, secured a spot on the First Team following a dominant season in which she totaled 320 kills, 50 service aces, and 377 digs across 20 matches. Ferris delivered consistent production on both sides of the ball, establishing herself as one of the most dependable offensive and defensive forces for the Jersey Blues.
Freshman setter Bella McKelvey, from Brick Memorial High School, was named to the Second Team after compiling 75 kills, 691 assists, 66 service aces, and 303 digs over 20 matches. McKelvey's on-court leadership and ability to dictate the team's rhythm were instrumental in Brookdale's strong season.
With Ferris and McKelvey leading the way on the court and Williams earning top coaching honors, the Jersey Blues capped their year with well-deserved recognition across the conference.
