Kansas City, MO- Three members of the Brookdale men's soccer team earned second All-East Region Honors from the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) for their performances in the 2015 season; sophomore goalkeeper Luis Aguirre, freshman defender Claudio Martins and freshman midfielder Alex Cella
Newton, NJ- After a hard fought ninety-minute match, the Jersey Blues men's soccer team fell to the Skylanders of Sussex County Community College, 1-0. With the loss, the Blues 2015 season comes to a close.
Lincroft, NJ- The Brookdale men's soccer team downed the Dukes of Cumberland County College, 1-0 in the quarter-finals of the Region XIX tournament. In the 83rd minute of the game, freshman midfielder Stevenley Joseph received the ball from the foot of freshman midfielder Douglas Silva and ripped the lone goal of the match.
Lincroft, NJ- Brookdale Community College sophomore goalkeeper Luis Aguirre received first team All-Region and All-GSAC honors. Freshman forward Guilherme DeNovaes was named to second team All-Region and first team All-GSAC.
Jenkintown, PA- The Brookdale men's soccer team shut out the Blue Jays of Manor College, 2-0. Freshman midfielder Hakeem Wood ripped the first goal of the game in the 72nd minute. Freshman midfielder Alex Cella collected the assist.
Blackwood, NJ- The Brookdale men's soccer team was edged by the Cougars of Camden County College in conference play, 3-0. Sophomore goalkeeper Luis Aguirre collected seven saves and freshman defender Elias Oliveira played a strong defensive game.
Lincroft, NJ- The Brookdale men's soccer team topped the Knights of Globe Institute of Technology, 2-0. In the first 17 seconds of the second half, freshman midfielder Matt Doucette ripped the first goal of the game. Freshman midfielder Hakeem Woods dished the assist.
Lincroft, NJ- The Brookdale men's soccer team downed the Blue Colts of Middlesex County College, 4-2. Freshman midfielder Matt Doucette put the Jersey Blues on the board in the 18th minute of the game, recording his second goal of the season. Sophomore midfielder Andrew Lyon dished the assist.
Vineland, NJ - Brookdale's Luis Aguirre has been named the GSAC Player of the Week in the sport of men's soccer. In two games, the 5'9" sophomore totaled 14 saves, surrendering just two goals while patrolling the net for the Jersey Blues last week.
Lincroft, NJ- The Brookdale men's soccer team was defeated by the Vikings of Ocean County College, 4-1. Freshman forward Guilherme DeNovaes scored the Jersey Blue lone goal in the 40th minute of the game. Freshman midfielder Matt Doucette collected the assist.
Paramus, NJ- The Brookdale men's soccer team suffered a tough loss to the Bulldogs of Bergen Community College, 1-0. Sophomore goalkeeper Luis Aguirre made six saves and freshman defender Claudio Martins played a strong defensive game.
Lincroft, NJ- The Jersey Blues men's soccer team rallied past the Golden Lions of Raritan Valley Community College, 2-1. Freshman midfielder Alex Cella scored the go-ahead goal for the Jersey Blues.
Newton, NJ- The Jersey Blues men's soccer team was blanked by the Skylanders of Sussex County Community College, 3-0. Sophomore goalkeeper Luis Aguirre grabbed seven saves and sophomore midfielder Andrew Lyon played a strong game for the Jersey Blues.
Lincroft, NJ- The Brookdale men's soccer team posted a 5-1 win over Union County College. With a scoreless first half, Brookdale took the lead after freshman forward Jonathan Junqueira shot the ball past the keeper, scoring the first goal of the game in the forty-ninth minute.
Pemberton, NJ- The Brookdale men's soccer team fell to division I Barons of Rowan College at Burlington County, 5-3. Freshman midfielder Stevenley Joseph put the Blues on the board first, scoring the game's first goal in the fourteenth minute of the game. Freshman midfielder Hakeem Wood dished the assist.
