Lincroft, NJ - The Brookdale Community College women's basketball team had a tough outing against Division II opponent Union College, falling 90-28 to the Owls.
The Owls controlled the pace from the opening tip, using strong defensive pressure and efficient shooting to build an early lead that Brookdale couldn't overcome.
Freshman guards Leomary Diaz-Merino and Jamirah Glanton led the Jersey Blues' effort, combining for 15 points. Glanton also pulled down eight rebounds to help Brookdale battle on the boards.
With the loss, Brookdale moves to 2–2 on the season. The Jersey Blues will look to bounce back when they return home to face RCSJ–Cumberland Dukes on Saturday, November 15th at 12:00 p.m.
