Lincroft, NJ - The Brookdale women's volleyball team were served their first loss of the season in a 3-0 sweep to the Northampton Community College Spartans with scores of 13-25, 18-25, 21-25.
In the battle, with a strong finish from the Blues, freshman outside hitter, Gemma Ferris, totaled 10.5 points for the Blues, including eight kills.
Brookdale, 6-1 overall, and 4-0 in the division, will play on the road next to visit the Montgomery County Community College Mustangs on Monday, September 29th, with a 6:00pm start.
